Dosage and Administration

Route and frequency of administration of Mirdametinib: Oral, twice daily.

Side Effects

Common side effects: Diarrhea, nausea, muscle, joint, and bone pain, etc.

Serious side effects: Eye problems, blurred vision, vision loss, etc.

Use in Special Populations

Pregnancy: Before you start treatment with Mirdametinib, your healthcare provider should check whether you are pregnant. During treatment with Mirdametinib and for 6 weeks after the last dose, please take effective contraceptive measures.

Breastfeeding: It is not known whether Mirdametinib passes into breast milk. Do not breastfeed during treatment with Mirdametinib and for 1 week after the last dose.

Daily Precautions

1. Inform patients and caregivers that Mirdametinib may cause serious ocular adverse reactions; if any vision changes occur, contact a healthcare provider immediately.

2. Inform patients and caregivers that Mirdametinib may cause a decrease in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF); if any signs or symptoms of left ventricular dysfunction occur, notify a healthcare provider immediately.

3. Inform patients and caregivers that Mirdametinib can cause severe skin adverse reactions; if skin discomfort occurs, contact a healthcare provider promptly; additionally, this medication may cause hair loss.
