Drug interactions of Tirzepatide

When initiating tirzepatide, consideration should be given to reducing the
dose of concomitantly administered insulin secretagogues (such as sulfonylureas)
or insulin to lower the risk of hypoglycemia. Tirzepatide delays gastric
emptying and may therefore affect the absorption of concomitantly administered
oral medications, so caution should be exercised during use.
