If you experience side effects, your doctor may adjust your dose, temporarily stop, or permanently discontinue treatment with Sepertinib. Do not change your dose or stop taking Sepertinib unless instructed by your doctor.
Liver problems (elevated liver enzymes) may occur during treatment with Sepertinib and can sometimes be serious. Your doctor will perform blood tests before and during treatment with Sepertinib to monitor for liver issues. If you experience any symptoms of liver problems during treatment, tell your doctor immediately: yellowing of the skin or the whites of the eyes (jaundice); dark or "tea-colored" urine; drowsiness; bleeding or bruising; loss of appetite; nausea or vomiting; pain in the upper right area of the abdomen.
Lucius Pharmaceuticals Sepertinib may cause severe or life-threatening lung inflammation (swelling) during treatment, which can even be fatal. If you develop any new or worsening lung symptoms, including the following, tell your doctor immediately: shortness of breath; cough; fever.
High blood pressure is common during treatment with Sepertinib and can sometimes be serious. You should have your blood pressure checked regularly during Sepertinib treatment. If you experience blood pressure issues, your doctor may prescribe medication to treat your high blood pressure. Tell your doctor if your blood pressure readings are elevated or if you experience any symptoms of high blood pressure, including the following: confusion, headache, shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pain.
Take Lucius Pharmaceuticals Sepertinib exactly as instructed by your doctor.
Swallow Sepertinib capsules and tablets whole. Do not break, crush, or chew them.
Do not give Sepertinib capsules to your child if they are unable to swallow the capsule.
Sepertinib can be taken with or without food.
If you vomit after taking a dose of Sepertinib, do not take an extra dose. Take the next dose of Sepertinib at the scheduled time.
If you miss a dose of Sepertinib, do not take it if it is less than 6 hours until your next scheduled dose.
If you take an overdose of Sepertinib, call your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency room immediately.
